NEWS FROM LIBBY!

Hi there! I just wanted to take a few minutes to write a personal post about what has been going on behind the scenes here at Elizabeth O’Neill Photography. Before I get started, I want to thank Dylan Duncan for making this illustration of me for my blog. I have been thinking about doing something like this for a long time, but Dylan finally made it come to life. Dylan is very talented and easy to work with. I highly recommend hiring him if you have some illustration ideas for anything from t-shirts to kid’s artwork. I love what he did for Bethany and Matt’s surprise wedding image.:)

Besides making time to work on fun projects with Dylan, I have been working on changing some things around with my business. The main reason I am making changes is because last year I got to marry the most amazing man in the world! (I am so glad I waited for him!!). I also have two step-sons that are hilarious and two cats that seem to think I am their butler. This all makes for a fun and crazy household with a even crazier schedule. For this reason, as much as I have enjoyed photographing such beautiful brides and handsome grooms with their family and friends, I will no longer be photographing weddings. When I look through my blog posts and see all of the amazing couples I have gotten to photograph, I am really proud of the artwork we have made together! Each couple is special for different reasons and I am really happy that I had a chance to work with each of them. I am still interested in photographing new brides and grooms after their wedding day for those couples that are interested in doing some fun shots later in the day in locations that are too hard to get to on the actual wedding day. I am forever inspired by locations and will always want to shoot a beautiful bride and groom in my new locations.:)The difference now would be that I would just need to have some flexibility from the bride and groom for scheduling.

I am looking forward to photographing more newborns, kids, seniors, and several ideas for personal artwork this year! I would also like to host more photography camps and workshops because they are so much fun. I love to watch people learn and grow!

Be sure to check back, there is one more surprise image for Bethany & Matt and some images from Copenhagen, Denmark!  ~ Libby
