CHAZ, BECKY, & THE BOYS! | DAYTON PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER

Shooting with me is like being in a Chinese fire drill. Thankfully Chaz, Becky, and the boys were game! We ran all over Dayton and took advantage of the beautiful 70 degree weather in December!  I love to try and visit at least one new location or try a new idea every shoot and I am so glad we did. I am very happy we had a chance to get some great images!

THE QUEEN OF HEARTS,THE MAD HATTER, AND FAMILY! | DAYTON PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER

Not that long ago I heard that Madison was getting in trouble for yelling at her little brother Anthony. I thought about this several times and loved the idea of portraying the relationship between an older sister and a younger brother through a fairy tale setting. Madison and Anthony were so fun to work with! Thanks for being so awesome! A special thanks to Yay-Yay (Grandma) for assisting me so that we could surprise the kids’ mom with this part of the shoot. The first double image  shown here is Anthony, just being Anthony. No posing. No direction. Just his potent personality shining through.

JUSTIN’S SENIOR SESSION | DAYTON SENIOR PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER

Justin’s senior session was so much fun! Not only did we experiment and try some new locations, but we also had Michelle Burdine shoot some studio shots to give him even more variety. She did a great job and love all the different looks we were able to achieve.

The following images were taken by the talented Michelle Burdine.

KEVIN L. MURPHY’S BOOK SURVIVING CANCER AFTER SURVIVING CANCER IS NOW AVAILABLE!

It is always wonderful for me to get the chance to work with people who are brave enough to go after their most ambitious ideas! I have to say that Kevin L. Murphy is one of those people. I was honored to photograph Kevin for his very personal book Surviving Cancer after Surviving Cancer. In this book Kevin shares about what can happen to the relationships in a  family during and after a loved one survives cancer. Most importantly Kevin shares what he has learned to help others from additional suffering. I have learned so much from Kevin’s unique story and it has been very helpful to those who are going through or have been through cancer. Be sure to check out his book on Amazon. It is also available on Kindle and on Nook.
