Photo Safari #2

I started planning this shoot months ago hoping to try out some ideas. Luckily all the pieces/people to this puzzle came together! A special thanks to Nicole for being so patient while I sorted through different ideas that always meant an outfit change, and to Beth for keeping everyone laughing. I also want to thank Preen in Oakwood for doing such a great job with make-up and The Look on Brown Street in Dayton for helping us get some fun outfits together. There are more photo safaris to come!

Wallace & then some…

Wallace is a friend of mine’s dog that is 5’11″ and 6’4″ with his hair. He is a handful and reminds me of the dog in Marley & Me. He is so smart that I bet he will be driving when he turns 16. Wallace is lucky enough to have Paula Willmot Kraus as his owner. She is an amazing photographer and currently is showing her work in Ohio. Be sure to check out her work at paulawillmotkraus.com. While I was visiting Wallace I took a few images of my surroundings just for fun.

The Donnellys brave the Cold in Eden Park and Mt. Adams!

I have always wanted to shoot in Cincinnati and yesterday I finally had my chance. Tina and I have been trying to get together for a shoot either in Tennessee or in Ohio for a while and since I moved up here it made it quite a bit more convenient to get a shoot together. Not only is this the first shoot in Cincinnati, but it was the first time I met her family. They are troopers in the cold and good sports all around. Anyone whose been on a shoot with me knows that I am never quite finished. One more shot…one more…:) My favorite moment of the day is when their son Michael looked at me with an expression like Ralphie straight out of “The Christmas Story”. With that red sweater and hilarious expression I was half expecting him to tell me all about a Red Ryder BB Gun.:)

That Chick!

I recently met the author That Chick of the great Jason, For the Love of God humor blog. She is a brilliant writer/ninja who has a knack for cutting to the chase and making you laugh on the way there. We were instant best friends and I really enjoyed getting to know her and her family. Here are some of the images for her next book! Be sure to check her blog out!
