AUSTRALIA PART 2 | DAYTON PHOTOGRAPHER

Melbourne at night.

Below is a picture of a “laneway” in downtown Melbourne. Laneways are all over the city and are full of cafe’s and shops. Cars are not allowed in the laneway.
More aquarium pics! I still love aquariums!
The stingray below is 6ft wide.
The next several coastal images are from the area known as “The Twelve Apostles” named for the sandstone formations out in the water.
Candace caught a snapper that we ate for Thanksgiving dinner!
This is what Australian brush looks like up close.
I love all the different caution signs.
This is one of my favorite images from our trip.
The kangaroos balance on their tales when they box! The two kangaroos shown here are very young.
The image below is of a male kangaroo. This is my other favorite shot from our trip.
I didn’t realize that kangaroos use their tales as they move.
My cat looks at me like this all the time.:)
I wanted more pictures of all the sheep you see in Australia, but they kept running away!
I didn’t try any vegemite. I heard it was very salty and gross!

AUSTRALIA PART 1 | DAYTON PHOTOGRAPHER

There are 82 bath boxes in Brighton, Australia. There was one for sale with a price tag of around $400,000.00!
I always run into cute dogs when I am shooting and I love it. The following images are of Neopolitan Mastiffs! The dog below is “Dozer”. The other dog is “Charlie” and she is only 6 months old!
Luna Park is one of the oldest amusement parks in Australia.
Below is the area of St. Kilda.
The following images are from Downtown Melbourne.
This is from a park in East Melbourne.
Below are images of a wallaby with a joey. Wallabies are smaller and darker than kangaroos. I will have kangaroos in my next post!
The following are of Cockatoos that are actually in the wild, but they know where to find some food from the tourists!
Our friend Candace was a good sport while she was being attacked by all the cockatoos.
More birds that I can’t remember the names of.:)

IMAGE BOXES

I now offer image boxes! I made one for my wedding and loved it so much that I made a couple more as gifts for my family. Each image box comes with a custom designed laminated cover and includes 25-5X7 mounted images. The images are 4X6 and and a white border is added to make a 5X7.

MORE FROM OUR WEDDING IN MAUI!

The next three images were taken by Michelle Burdine on the morning of the wedding!

I shot a million pictures of my flowers, but what bride doesn’t love her flowers, right?!! It was interesting because I had no idea what they were going to look like. I asked for something bright and colorful and saw them for the first time minutes before the wedding. The pink flower is called “ginger torch”.
Michelle took the next several images for us. She had her work cut out for her, I get a little chatty when I think I am getting my picture taken. Haha!
I love the next few images so much! They are just what I wanted. Thank you so much, Michelle!!
There were several people surfing in the distance during our ceremony. Some of them came up to the beach just as we were getting our pictures taken! Of course I loved this!
This one makes me laugh. The next two images show what I was shooting!
We stayed in an amazing house with a community pool with a beach cove right behind it.
This is what Maui looked like from the boat that takes you out to a submarine.
This is the park we walked past on the way to the pool.
The next several images were taken with a rented underwater digital camera. There are a million interesting shots that were taken over several days, but I am just showing a few of my favorites. My new nephew, Kyle took most of what you are seeing here. We had a family of turtles that were near our cove and on the last day we were there, the turtles came all the way up into the cove to eat and get their close-ups. I absolutely love the last turtle shot!!
The next three images are from our submarine trip. Red light does not make it this deep into the ocean… which makes for some crazy color!
This lighthouse was taken for Heather. ‘Nuf said.
Michelle took the next two images of me getting ready at Preen Apothecary before our reception in Dayton.
The following images were taken by Crystal Black Photography. We had a great time with the photo booth! Thank you Crystal and Brandon!!
Without question, the funniest image from the photo booth!
The last shot of me with my friend Ryan reminds me of a Beastie Boys shot.

ALONG THE WAY…

You know how it is…you are traveling, loaded down with luggage, and you see a shot. If you are like me, you are too lazy to get your camera out. This time, I made myself shoot a couple.
