The Workshops!

If you are wondering how to create a certain look that you have seen on my website, let’s do a workshop together! I am Elizabeth O’Neill, but everyone calls me Libby.  I have been shooting for over 14 years and have been formally educated in graphic arts and photography.  I love walking the line between between shooting portrait and fashion/advertising images… basically lifestyle photography.  I have had the opportunity to take workshops and be mentored by Melissa Rodwell, Audrey Woulard, Melissa Koehler and Sean and Mel McLellan of McLellan Style and have learned so much from them. Understanding how to make a great a image has been a constant inspiration for me, and is something that I would like to share. I would love to help you as I have been helped! For that reason I am offering a couple of different workshops for those of you who are ready to grow in your photography skills or make it more than a hobby.

Maybe you have good habits but need guidance deciding the best way to use your camera for the areas of photography you love. If this is you, you’ll want to register for a “Shooting Smarter” Workshop (4 hours). We will discuss your camera’s features, exposing (what is ISO, aperture, shutter speed, and white balance), and composition, then go on a mini-shoot.

If you have a handle on your camera–but you need help getting to the next level–you might be ready to register for the “Mentoring” Workshop (4 hours). This workshop is tailored to you by spending one-on-one time on the areas you select. Possible areas to cover include your camera’s features, exposing (what is ISO, aperture, shutter speed, and white balance), composition, lighting (available or flash), off-camera flash, posing, Photoshop®, Lightroom®, starting a business, a portfolio review, or go on a mini-shoot. Click on the links above to see more information about each workshop.
